Financial Accuracy

Money is an ironic thing. We look to deals and savings all around us but it is interesting which ones spark our interests and which ones do not.

Often when I am making a small purchase of something for a dollar I try to get the best deal. If I can fifty cents off the total price then I am feeling pretty good about myself.

Despite this when I am buying something for fifty dollars I am not going to go out of my way to get it for fifty cents off.

Is this not so fascinating? I’m saving the same amount of money, but because it is less of a percentage of the item I am not as interested.
