For the True Money Saver Wannabe… January 22, 2009

Money is an important thing to have these days.  Especially since an economic crisis is upon us.  The more money we have the more secure we feel.  It takes the stress off of us when we know we are financially solid.  Therefore, to be financially secure is one of the things we strive after in order to make ourselves and our families happy.  So wouldn’t it be good to know what we can do in order to feel this way?  I think so.

I also think that we can always benefit from any and all information on this subject that we can get.  We should take in the information given to us, and then make our own judgment calls about how we should handle our money.  So what I’m saying is, don’t just go and do everything anyone ever tells you to do with your money.  But instead think about what is told to you, decide whether it would be a good decision, and then act upon your own feelings on the subject.

Treat everything you hear as advice, whether it be good advice or bad advice.  If you do this, I promise you will be much happier with the way you run your wallet.  At the same time, you will be taking on responsibility for your own actions – which is a very grown up thing to do (or so my mom says).
